Back in the Police days, there was a memorable night, when a very good local boxer took down 5 bouncers who were 15-20 stone and he was 12 stone wet but super fast. Nice lad as well, bouncer mocked him and the lad didn’t back down. Big bouncer thought he was safe in numbers but found out the hard way, that he wasn’t. If parents, did their jobs properly, violence would be down 80%. Always starts at home....
You obviously haven't been lately. I have travelled the country with work and there are far worse places. In the last three years there I have been out to restaurants, bars and theatres as good as anywhere. Lots of money has been spent on the infrastructure and continues to be. The thing that spoils Hull are the Ronnie Pickerings of this world. Unfortunately the current situation won't help the less well off in the city and homelessness will rise. But this will be the same all over the country.
