It's not funny, genuine request. I simply can't handle it without mechanical aid. Spent last night swinging the old girl round the garage. Need all the help I can to get my leg over and position all the bits for inspection and adjustments. Good support underneath seems to be the answer. Tried the rear stand. Lining up the spigot was a nightmare with the old girl leaning to the left. So if you have a centre stand let me know.
I apologise Gartree, wasn't meant to offend it's just that coming on this Forum* one's awareness of double entendres becomes second nature, either being guilty of writing or (inevitably) just looking out for same in other member's prose**. I have two Multi's both with centrestands so umming and arr-ing but meanwhile I hope you find one soon. *see! i've done it myself.. ** and again.
Double entendre, I bet the French have words or letters for that. I personally always keep it clean and free of smutty bits. Are two multis a multitude? and two supports a truss? Still looking for one and will carry on with the difficulties of handling the old girl in my twilight years while others enjoy the pleasure of having two at their fingertips.
Got one! Now all I need is the lifting handle for the frame. Any other Ducati model with a frame mounted lifting handle. Some do have a rear footrest mounted handle.
it's all about the timing sadly, I just removed both from one bike with a view to a sell but pointless me selling the handle separately now, they are bound to turn up on EBay.
