I thought access to speakers corner was restricted to those that Subscribed to the forum; contributed with cash. It looks like I'm mistaken.
Second, Speakers Corner changes. It will be hidden to any unregistered / not logged in users and only members who've been registered for at least 1 month and 100 posts will have access to it. New content will also not show up in 'New Posts'
If you made it "registered members only who had paid £££ subscriptions" it would become a lot less raucous

Actually making access to speakers corner part of the subscription fee would make sense. Then those who have not subscribed but are a member would not see it, which has often been the complaint around speakers corner.
This forum isn’t for the few it’s for all of you. At the end of the day it’s a motorbike forum those of you that want to spend time in speakers corner off you go and the rest of us don’t have to see it unless we want too
