Any knowledgable people out there shed any light. Multistrada 1200S 2013 .Hands free button no longer working for pin entry. Test this every now and again as probably along with everybody else paranoid about getting stuck with key malfunction if key is within range button will activate ignition like it should, but if key is out of range button no longer activates small screen for pin entry. Wondering if its button or problem elsewhere. Don't like riding without it was paranoid enough when it worked. Any knowledge ,light shed appreciated.
To anybody with a similar issue.Found a post on another forum where the problem they had was battery disconnection presumably wiped the pin code and once reinstated was ok. This did seem to be the problem. No pin evident. Put pin in seems ok
Make sure the kill switch is in the on position too. It will not work if its in the kill position, or at least my DVT is like that. Not had an earlier model to try it
