Does anyone know whether you need to do something in particular to enable Bluetooth connectivity? Just went through to the menu where the Bluetooth options should be but there aren't any.
Hmm.. That may explain why I used to be able to connect my phone (and old phone, since got a nw one) but can't now. It's been serviced since so it's possible something has gone awry. My service reminder also hasn't been cleared. Thanks!
The service reminder cannot be reset if you had the service done before the mileage clicked over. You usually need to do 60 or 70 miles over before they can reset it. Andy
Thanks, that's helpful. I think I need to go and see the friendly chaps at Hyside! (they didn't do the last service)
Was 2018 the change over year for different software, I know mine is a 1260 not 1200 but I would of thought the screen software would be the same
Wasn't there also a period of the bluetooth shagging itself out and many were replaced under warranty?
If it's been serviced they'll have had the tank off (presumably) so I'd be guessing the Bluetooth module hasn't been plugged back in.
So... Turns out it was a simple fix. Realised there was something weird going on when neither of my din converters would work (in different sockets). Didn't realise that both the Bluetooth module and the two charging ports run of the same 10amp fuse. Fuse now replaced ced and everything is magically working again
