V4 New, Taller Screen Fitted

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Android853sp, Jun 8, 2020.

  1. Having been over 6' in height since I was 11 years old, I have struggled to get tucked in on every sports bike I have ever owned. The V4 is no exception and it is in fact quite a small bike for its size. Anyway, whilst browsing eBay, I saw that Moto Rapido are now offering the WRS screen they have fitted to the race bike.

Nice, quality screen, +30mm on height and I'd love to say easy to fit. Who in their right mind, secures the front fairing plate with 11, yes, 11 screws ? If you retained the black plastic covers, it is 15 screws. All fiddly and easily dropped into the yawning gap of the fairing side panels as is the hex drive . Still, all done and very happy. Going to annoy the neighbours later and fire the beast into life ....... full Akrapovic without baffles :joy::laughing::joy: Andy

  2. Interesting - let us know if it helps, I'm 6'3" and struggle with the wind...

  3. I'm 6'5 and decided to give a double bubble a punt on my 899, and found it caused more turbulence for me. It makes the buffeting on my Arai RX7V so noisy it's unbearable. It's the same with the standard screen on my S1000XR, but a clip on deflector helps that. I'm tempted to back to the standard screen?

  4. Same here. Wife goes mad. But I still think it’s dead funny ... :D
