1200 Lengthen Side Stand

Did anyone find a suitable solution for DVT side stand. My bike leans over quite a bit, lifting it off side stand needs a good heave.

I’ve fitted a CNC bolt on foot, not that big but might help a bit.

 

Yes I remember that day too - that was Chris's day. Mine was a day or two after!
I did buy one of those Chinese extendable side-stands. It's ugly but well made. However it didn't fit the DVT and I was quite pleased really as it was a lump. I still have it if anyone wants it, just pay postage.
I've solved the problem to my satisfaction with a simple side stand foot pad. It probably adds about a centimeter to the length which makes enough of a difference to be worthwhile.

 

A bit of extra length always makes the difference Peter!

 

I'd like one of those Chinese ones .....but made to look like a tiny flip flop ....

 

Or not in some cases....
