Just finished Don Quixote (hilarious in a Shakespearean way). Now on to 'The World of Ice and Fire' (George RR Martin) - a history of the Game of Thrones world.
Lost Connections. A book about the real causes of depression and some considerations to help combat it. Eye opening stuff. Anti-depressants are not the answer for most people.
They are often overlooked or forgotten with our flood of digital entertainment these days . They've been available for blind people since the 1930s I think , but they really took off when cassettes came along , and gave a long running time in a small package . Entertaining and/or educational ..... I like them for long boring journeys .... good for insomnia also .... Currently reading " Money " by Martin Amis .... for the umpteenth time !
