I'm sure that you're correct here Andy, but I'm fairly sure the punishment for these "Crimes" would be appropriate. One would cost a fine but the other would probably result in a custodial sentence. Steve R
If your going down the route of custodiaI sentence I can tell you the dangerous/disqualified/perverting driver/rider is far more likely to go to prison than the burglar and thief....
Why is it the norm? Catch the bloody theives and leave someone driving at 90 on an empty motorway alone. I'm fairly sure that the vast majority of the public would agree too. Snitching on people unless it is a major crime sucks completely, corrupts society and serves no one. A very bad move by the police and its no wonder they are losing public support with this type of behavior.
I don’t own or run the system but I’ve more than likely got a far better insight into it than you or the majority I’m just telling you how it is not that I’m responsible for it... If you only knew of the amount of shoit the good public send in telling the cops what they should do about it..let alone the amount of video The vast majority of the public love to snitch!
I see the fault placed at the courts, rather than the police. If both types are getting presented before them. Rather than the thieves not getting arrested
Andy I don't think its your fault; if it was your fault I would have said something very rude and then put you on block! Now it may well be that a great many people snitch. Low behavior indeed. Overall imo its damaging to comunities and causes bad feeling. Even those that busybodies that snitch think dark thoughts; as they of all people know others are sneaking around and informing. Overall the public don't know who is a grass with their silly little dash cameras, so we all have no one to blame but the police... Catch burglars, catch muggers, catch drug dealers. Catch people driving fast by schools (if they are open) catch drunk drivers. Catch paedos. Catch mad religious/ rightwing/ left wing nut jobs. Then & only then if there's anytime left over should the speeding become an issue.
What get’s on my goat more than anything, is the bragging by the Police on social media. Bragging may be a bit harsh, but you are doing your job, you caughts someone for being naughty, no need to be a C^%t about it.
