I have a 2013 granturismo with the huge panniers, and i have found that i rarely will need the full capacity. The 75l panniers are wider than the handlebars and they are cumbersome to pack when most of the space is in the lid. I was thinking of having 2 sets of lids, the smaller and the huge ones, and just swap them when needed, that way i keep the same key locks and it takes less of my prescious storage space than 2 sets of panniers. Does the smaller lids fit directly? Any thoughts?
I can confirm that they do, I did exactly this with my 2013 GT , avoids having the "wide Load" sign permanently fitted
