Monster S4 Alternator Cover Wanted

  1. Hi, I am looking for a replacement alternator cover for my 2001 Monster S4, just the cover as I have all of the ancillary items etc.
    My CPS sensor retaining bolt has snapped in the casing and I can’t get direct access to it to drill it out o_O:sob:. This bike is proving to be a real pain in the proverbial o_Oo_O
    The easiest option is to replace it.

  2. I have an early (black) 748/916 cover that should fit??

  3. Hi, thanks for your prompt response but I think that the early 748/916 had the smaller alternator. I’ll attach a picture of my one for reference.

  5. I'll let you do the comparison, but it was 3 phase and fitted a 2002 748

  6. Most excellent and definitely looks the same from the photos.
    How much would you be asking for the cover ?
    I am near the Cambridge area.
