  8. Over the past few days I have learned:
Don't use regular masking tape on outside window glass - even if it's the good quality 3M stuff:(
Don't leave said tape on the window for over a week before peeling it off:(
Having peeled the tape off definitely do not leave the exposed adhesive on the windows for a further week thus making it impervious to the WD40 trick:mad:

I would have been quicker to get paint all over the glass and then scrape that off:mad:.

ah well, live and learn :upyeah:

  15. You may know this, you may not. But this museum I found very interesting and well worth a visit despite being slightly off the beaten track.

  16. Sticker/ glue remover in aerosols?

  17. Yep, know it quite well. In fact, my wife took me there on our 2nd date and then told me on the way home that I might be doomed! I think what she meant by that, was she was going to cook me dinner and then shag me! Unless I have had it all wrong?...

  19. Got this in the post today....
£130 for going into a temporary Buses and Cycles only bit of London - COVID19 strikes again.
Appealed it... that's a long time to process an appeal, hope I can still pay the 50% discount.
