Jesus christ i was considering selling next month as i need a change of scenery,i best hang on to it then.
Does anybody know if the white stripes on the side fairing are stock? Never seen a 996 with those graphics before. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-9...455734?hash=item4459728db6:g:7Y0AAOSwdAlecfZy Video of the bike:
Thanks all for the replies. It looks clean, low mileage, however I think it has had some type of engine work done. Have a look at the black hand drawn cross:
Yes, that's what I imagined. Does not give me much confidence to be honest, perhaps I am wrong. Such a low mileage and engine re-spray already? Might that suggest that the bike has been stored outdoors/exposed to rain?
£7490 , 4616 miles, 3 previous owners. Seems like an original monoposto (it does not mention biposto so I will assume it is a mono) with carbon Termignoni exhaust.
I didn’t see the eBay link, just the vid, sorry. FYI it’s a biposto with a mono seat, you can see the footrest hanger attachment point in the first photo. Clean bike but if it were me I’d lose the white graphics on the fairing side panels.
Nothing wrong with it being a biposto, it’s easy enough to buy an aftermarket mono subframe if you really want to convert it.
I wonder what this finally achieved, it had been for sale for yonks. It's a 998FE they were asking £19.5k for it, one owner, very low miles. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313125342782?ul_noapp=true
This Xerox 748 was up for sale a good few months back wasn't it? Was it the same dealer? @mike willis FYI https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174334979904?ul_noapp=true
