  1. We do. four in a row. Only when they specifically want to serve trucks is there a separate island.
    Diesel handle is usually green.

  2. That's no going to end well for UK tourists. In the UK petrol is green, diesel black. I do seem to remember this from a visit to the States a few years back when we had a hire car.

  3. There are a couple businesses in n ireland do this, all fuel removed has to be metered etc for vat purposes , tightly regulated.

  4. The AA, (a breakdown service here in the UK) syphon the contaminated fuel out of your tank & it's pumped into a tank in the back of their van, which you can see in the picture. It is then disposed of humainly, not dumped down the street grid or dumped in someone's front garden !!:)

  5. I understand completely. It just doesnt happen here. I am guessing for environmental reasons/fears...
We have the AAA. As far as i can tell they do not do it.

  6. So what happens when the luckless Brit tourist grabs the pump with the green handle to fill his hire car with gas only to discover when he starts the engine he’s filled it with diesel and fubared the cat? How does he get the vehicle going again? There must be someone in the US does it:thinkingface:

  7. Yes, just call the rental company... who will tow it to a place for "Service" where much much more $$$ can be charged...
You DID get the insurance right????
    Well
    It probably doesnt cover this.

  9. The only thing the AA forgot to put on their road sign is "LOOK, ANOTHER BAFFOON WHO'S FILLED UP WITH THE WRONG FUEL" !!:joy:

I have a mate who did exactly the same to his Supersport last year when going on holiday & I've done it myself, (in cars though) three times up to now, (not paying attention) !!:sob:

  10. I think we can let @Jewell out of the stocks now.... some of his money paid for that sign... :joy:

  11. I think we can all agree that Americans are waaaaaayyyyy more retarded than Brits. So their must be a service for yanks but remember, they don’t believe in MPG/Green or “cost effective” so that would lower the chances considering majority of cars are petrol....

When they have 4-6 litre petrol police cars, you know that they aren’t the smartest bunch....

Compared to 1.6-2.0 diesel panda cars and 3.0 litre traffic cars, that still have 50+mpg when cruising....

  14. So... If we are "waaaaaayyyyy more" then that would make you guys second worst? :D
Glad to have the company of someone who almost speaks the language correctly.
    Efficiency?
We pump more into the economy this way. When everyone pays more it's easier for people to be paid more. Here, in the right places the police, Janitors, teachers, and Garbage men can all make 100K...

But lets get back to the fact that we Purposely use as much fuel as possible...
So that yours has to be so expensive that the only way you experience 2 litres is to buy milk...

Below is how the retarded do it... More efficient without needing a separate nozzle and hose for each grade of Gasoline
(Look at that, we can even afford to use more letters to spell Fuel) :astonished:
    OR
Maybe if you called is Gas and Diesel you could all tell them apart?

One nozzle for gas, and one for Diesel. Not sure the pic will show it but if you lift the diesel nozzle a light light up for you that only speak/read the Olde English so you know what you are getting. When you lift the one for Gas all 3 light up until you Choose which grade you want

And our prices are "waaaaaayyyyy more" than they were. Just a month ago i was paying $163 a gallon.
Now it's $189 a GALLON for regular unleaded. How many litres would YOU be driving?:)
