A chap was selling one the another day on Ebay and i've kept his mobile number,it didn't reach the reserve price so it might just still be available.
Jesus christ i didn't see that coming,i'd asked the question at the time when the advert / listing was live was it HPI'd when he purchased it,and his reply was he hadn't....so maybe he was economical with the truth.
The last bike i purchased was in 2017 (shame on me) i had paid a deposit on the day and then transferred the balance due,and then someone said aren't you going to carry out a HPI check....normally i don't but i did after the horse had bolted..anyone red flags came up straightaway......it had a private plate originally which had been transferred to another bike that had finance outstanding.
HPI checking is such a handy tool. My son put a deposit down on a car a few years ago, done a HPI check and it had outstanding payments on it from another company, cut a long story short he bought the car but had to wait 3 weeks for it to be sorted(he really wanted that car, bless him)!!
I think this is a lesson for ALL the members on here to carry out this move when purchasing expensive motorbikes in the future.Just like the trade do or you'll get burnt alive.
I had courier arranged for picking it up the lot, the guy was genuine I think and no harm done thankfully. Back on the hunt!
Thanks, that’s a US and wouldn’t know where to start with import shipping etc. Ideally looking for a uk bike.
