  1. Pah! You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink! Horses are wimps! That's why dogs are mans best friends!!!

  3. COVID cut for the man. The lady who did him got a bit keen on his chest :astonished:

  4. Can your dog come and teach my 7 month old working Cocker not to be such a wuss as he ran away in panic from a dead rabbit the week before last. :worried::laughing:

But pheasants are also incredibly stupid and even without any guns around they manage to off themselves on a regular basis. In the last few weeks alone, I've almost run one over which was sitting in the middle of the road on a roundabout and last week another one was just wandering around the car park of the club where I shoot clays which I probably could have caught it with my bare hands if I had been so inclined.

  6. I took this piccie of the girlf the other day while we were out with Iggy and it wasn’t until I got home I noticed that the dog had photobombed it. What’s more, he’d also pulled the daft grin he’s started adopting recently whenever he wants a treat, attention, or, now it seems, when someone points a camera in his direction.

  7. Cute. But, don’t play hard tug of war games with him when he is young (of course not suggesting you have And apologies if you know this). It can slightly deform their jaw so bottom teeth jut out.
Our Lola is a smiler. Whenever we get home we get a beautiful smile. Apparently her mum is the same.
    :upyeah:

  8. No tugs of war with our Iggy, as he’s very good at giving things up and responds pretty well to a “drop it” command. He’s recently got into the habit of bringing me stuff that he’s found and seems to enjoy it (or rather the praise he gets).

  9. Good.
I typed with trepidation as I did not wish to insult or patronise. :bucktooth:

  10. We've had our latest rescue 8 weeks this week - she eats everything including the bird seed scattered over the lawn

  12. No, they're Norwegian Forest Cats but NFCs are related to the Maine Coon family :)

  13. I am a dog kind of bloke but I do like these cats you keep turning up plus the Scottish wildcat.
    Proper animals.

  14. Again beautiful cats, mates wife has a NFC called maverick, he's nearly as big as their MC rambo, but a couple years younger. He thinks mav will eventually grow bigger than rambo, He also told me Mav likes to chase foxes, I didn't believe him!

  17. When I was growing up we had a cat that used to attack the German Shepherd belonging to a guy up the road whenever it got too close to our back fence which separated our garden from the school field where he walked it.

He even complained about it once. What was even more ridiculous about this situation was our cat was blind in one eye and she never really got much bigger than a half grown kitten due to being born with cat flu and her mother dying from it when she was only 4 weeks old (plus she was half Siamese and they’re very petite anyway). She was also the friendliest and sweetest natured cat I ever met, probably due to being bottle fed by us after her mum died, but as any cat owner will tell you, they are proper psychos when pushed.
