Here She Is...

Discussion in 'Streetfighter' started by scratch pervert, Jul 11, 2020.

  1. Picked her up yesterday and put 85 miles on it today with a ride around Peak District.

A step up from my Monster 1200R in every area except tank range. Fuel light was on after just 80 miles. This wouldn't be an issue if I'd been ringing it's neck but I'm keeping it below 8k while running it in.

  10. Nice!! I saw the Duc Notts FB post!! How is it compared to the 1200R??
And 80 miles to fuel light warning sounds like the usual panigale range!!

  11. Thanks Nick.

No plans to take this on track but never say never. :imp:

  12. The 1200R is a great bike but this is a step above in every area. Getting back on the Monster after the test ride, it's clear it's a last generation model. 'The game' has moved on alot since it was launched. The handling is almost telepathic and the way it soaks up bumps on the road amazes me.

  13. And so it should be, it’s not replacing the Monster though, It’s a separate model isn’t it, like the Streetfighter before it?
Lovely bike, I’d have one but I’d still take the wings off :joy:
Not surprised by the tank range, my mate was forever running out of fuel on his 1199 when he first got it, you’d best get a support vehicle once you’ve run it in.

  14. Lovely Bal!

You didn’t razz past a few Ducati’s all together around midday yesterday did you? I was out with a dozen or so DOCGB members, riding fairly briskly, when a SF V4 went past rather quickly (near Cromford/Matlock I think) :p
