  4. So sad to hear of his passing .

A lovely gentle soul , and a supreme musician ....
.... but so much suffering and tragedy in his life .

BB King said that listening to him play made him sweat .....

Listen to that tone and sustain !!
..... no fancy effects or studio trickery .... just truck loads of skill , talent and genius .

  10. kinda reminds me of being with my muso mates in a rehearsal room using a valve amp via 100watt Marshall. I think that’s the cause of my tinnitus

  14. Rest in peace Peter, I hope you are jamming with BB, a rare talent we don’t see today.
You live on in your music, and our hearts.

  15. A rare talent and a humble man, had the pleasure of sharing a dressing room with him and the band back in the 60s. Met my wife to be at a Fleetwood Mac gig, the band will always be special to us

  16. The story behind that famous Les Paul was that Peter Green told Gary Moore he could buy the guitar from him.
Gary Moore couldn't afford it so he accepted whatever Gary Moore sold his guitar for.
Apparently it had a neck break and repair and the pickups were wired out of phase.
He was a real talent on an extraordinary guitar, true legend.
