Rules, Points And Bans Information Request 2

We all use bike forums for different reasons, obviously focussed around our specific manufacturer.
I use forums for finding out info, fair prices before spending and some social meets but post 99% utter, utter bollocks, which some will find funny and many not.
I know some of the posts previous are aimed at me and I am not offended, I actually agree.
But as someone has mentioned the average age is 54, if we all acted 54, then the forum would be bloody boring.

This forum has a good vibe and that is extremely hard to get, having used bike forums for almost 20 years. The only forum that is similar if not slightly better is the PB Mag Forum, IMHO.

People also have to remember that Forums are like people’s houses, if you don’t like it or you’re rude to the other guests, there is no HR process to follow, they can just boot you out. Sometimes this is done incorrectly on other forums but with this site, you’d have to be a massive knobber to get banned without warning, as the mods do a good job.

 

Just ask yourself the question as to why it's you who gets banned?
99.9% of the other users of this forum have never been banned and like me will probably never suffer that fate.
This thread reminds me of the old story about the Mother who says...
"Look at my little (post whatever name you think fits here) he's the only one in step".
If you are banned or keep getting banned, take my advice take a good look at yourself and wind your neck in.
Or give up and go somewhere else to play, the balls in your court chap make of it what you will.

Yep Have to agree with the common denominator argument , There is a person missing at the minute he doesn't particularly bother me but his very first post was to blatantly slate another guy for saying he didn't mind spending the day with his wife and kids ? The person replied I thought you were gone for good ? His reply was I'm fucking bored mate so here to stir shit up ?? That was his first 3 posts ? Why on earth would anyone put up with a bellend like that ?? For some reason I started getting notifications from the Trump tread yesterday its stopped now thank jebus but the same childish crap where 2 grown adult men try to belittle each over and an American president ? It unbelievable that people would take time to have a go at each other ?

 

Out of interest, I had a look at why @noobie got banned. He posted a 'Nuke' on a post by a moderator and was banished for a month for the act. Now as far as I see it, the 'Nuke' is an openly selectable option available to anybody to use as they see fit. The only caveat to this is if it used to troll, which in this case, it wasn't.

As for yourself. You were a repugnant individual the last time you were here and your 1st post when you came back in May, because of the demise of your beloved 851/888 forum, was to say the reasons you previously left hadn't changed and you won't be hanging around. 2 1/2 months later, you are still here.

You also seem to think a few people are "Wankers". Maybe you are the common denominator and should take look at yourself and wind your neck in.

 

Considering you’ve only been on here 10 mins it shows how good the moderators are to allow you to give such educated advice wise one.

In the end i do not think it matters. Being in a technical field most of my life I always RTFM.
But
I never let the rules change who I am.
It doesnt seem that you guys do either
