Hi everyone, Just a quick post to introduce myself before I start posting what will likely be a long and endless list of asking for help and advice! Bought myself a 2001 750 SS a few days ago, which is a bit of a project but I think a bit of a hidden gem underneath. Long wanted a sports bike but being a slow rider never had the confidence to get myself a typical modern supersports. Always thought it would be good if a manufacturer out there put a decent chassis out with relatively modest power, then suddenly the penny dropped - the SS is the answer I've been riding a short while (8 years) and having owned various machines over the years am starting to build a collection of bikes that I'm proud of. The SS nestles nicely alongside my G650 GS Sertao and 1989 RGV 250 which is being rebuilt as a track bike for now until I find enough original parts to make it a fully restored original. Anyway, that's 'Hello!' for now - I'll be heading straight over to the 'Wanted' section to continue my search for a set of 2001 750SS fairings in red... Cheers, Steve
Thanks everyone. I'm away from home at the moment and the bike only arrived the day before we left so no pics yet but I'll get some posted. I'll take photo's of my bins as well if that's a thing (but you'll need to explain why... )
