They're not that bad IME! from eBay ad: "speed of a sports bike but much easier ride a joy to ride , brembo breaks , looks great with the single sided swing arm" https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133483331803?ul_noapp=true
Funnily enough I was going to mention this bike to you as I know you are thinking about getting a Guzzi , albeit a much newer one. I have one of these but mine has the Brembo brakes instead and I agree about speed of a sports bike providing its a very very slow sports bike . They are great fun to own though if you just want to ride around without any pressure to go fast or get your knee down etc. If I didnt already have one I`d be bidding for that . I doubt it will go much over £2k so think Whole Lotta Rosie type of bike, lots of lbs per £1.
Fortunately, in my accident, I didn't get my knee down! With the older Guzzis, nothing really turns me on - unlike older Ducatis. I really like the look of the V85 Guzzi and like the look of Ducatis 748/749s or even older 900SS, etc. As I want a tourer and Guzzis are not silly money then I think that my Ducati/Guzzi plan will work for me.
