Would anyone from California or Alaska go to Georgia to buy a bike? If the answers is yes then crack on Macduff
The point I was making was would anyone out of your home state actually jump on a plane to view/buy your bike? If so then of course place an advert on here. If the answer is no then I'd just advertise it locally to you.
well I did drive 4hrs to ride 4hrs back. It was early March. Covid was already making it's moves... And i was considering (depending on where the bike was) maybe fly and ride home, or fly and inspect, ship it and fly home... I guess it just depends on how that person feels about travel right now. So the first question still stands. How many are there? A second question is... I believe the way it is worded that I can post an ad with no further cost because i already joined for $5. If that is correct I might post anyway. But unless there are many here in the US I probably wont if it costs... You can get a bike shipped for just a few hundred dollars coast to coast.
To be honest I have absolutely no idea, and there isn't a function on the software for me to analyse this. Added to which someone in the UK, lets say, who uses a USA server/IP would skew the numbers. If you are going to advertise it elsewhere (local to you) then it'd be no big deal to copy and paste the advert here. GWTS anyway
There are quite a few forum members from the states. Just recently I started a head count. If I run across one or there is an American Newbie I add them. I am currently at 23, a 24th is Canadian. I know there are more(both Canadian and US) out there. They range anywhere from Idaho to Texas to Florida to NY. Quite a few in California and along the East Coast(LA, VA, PA, NC and you in GA)with the rest of us scattered in between. I do run across them in the Bike Chat and Machine areas of the forum more so than the Life. Can't speak to the Sale section so much as I don't go there too often. Very possible you might get a bite if you post. Go for it.
It is until you reach the till & they add state taxes. The insurance premium for low-quality to average health support in writing. Because once you get ill, they decide they don't cover your specific problems. That probably won't cover the $600-800 ambulance (first-responder-unit) inital charge either. Gas is cheap but so is the lung full of death_culture you'll be breathing in with next to no emissions standards. Buy a small handgun quickly as this is how most Americans kill themselves when enough is enough. Plus don't expect to actually use any holiday time off or you'll be replaced when you return & gawd forbid never mention you travelled abroad. We might be able to do a whip round to send you over??? fancy it
