Hi First of all, good to see a forum that’s still as active as this one. Most of the ones I’ve been on for previous bikes have either shutdown, gone to Facebook, or have a couple of new posts a month now. I’m currently on a TDM 850 which I’ve had for 9 years and is itself pushing 21years old. Thinking I’ve more than had worth of the £1500 I paid for it back then and I’m now ready for something of an upgrade. I used to commute daily on my TDM, but now I’m more of a weekends and holidays rider. That being said I’m positive I’ll be using a new bike more. Last year I did the NC500 and a 4000 mile tour of Europe in my baby mustang last year. They were both amazing (bar Switzerland) but the cars gone now so I’d love to do them both again on a bike. I’m after a Multistrada 1200s, I’d love a Pikes Peak but we’ll see where I end up with budgets and what’s available. I’ll pop over to the Multistrada section shortly ask have a few questions beforehand. Thanks all See you all around.
Hello and welcome. I'm on my first multi. Went for the dvt. Still getting used to it but love it so far and know it's gonna be a keeper
Welcome, you'll absolutely love the multi. I'm on my third . I've had a 1200s, 1200s dvt and now on a 1260s and they're all fantastic. I did the NC500 a couple of years ago. Just brilliant. Good luck with your search
Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your search. The Multistrada makes a great practical touring bike.
Hi and welcome you won’t regret buying a multi I sold my 1199s for a 1200s PP It’s a keeper more smiles per miles then any other bike I’ve had and most of the speed has been nearly legal
Be careful with pre 2013 bikes. Known engine issues, which seemed to be mostly sorted from the twinspark version onwards.
We have the best forum We also like pics here of your bike only if it’s got a bin in it It keeps me happy Welcome into our mad house
£650 on the day, then a further £170 after that. 6km over the limit, but, my fault at the end of the day. Thanks for the welcomes all I've noticed the bin trend, I'll see what I can do.
