And much more importantly, it buggers up my plans for acquiring a Guzzi and getting back out there on my Ducatis!! Trouble is : both my physio and sol have zero sympathy or interest in helping me to get back on a motorbike!
My eldest took back the e-bike today his van has gone in for repair and he needs it work, he has 3 bikes on the road his work is a 20 mile round trip and yet he wants to cycle it......... Oh you can have it back in few days time Dad you don't give somebody something and take it back, i think i will phone him up and say "the Mini is in dry dock can i have the Guzzi Lemon and the Suzy Hustler back your Mum and me wants to go shopping" kidz i dunno, i think i'll tell him to hold on to it and i'll try and source one of my own i fookin love riding them.
that's a hard one when family Tony.. slightly off topic, but had similar with a "mate" who "gave" me a motorbike. I grilled him to start with 'cos i thought he didn't mean it, but after a few weeks he was adamant because i had helped him in the past blah blah. Long story short - I didn't have it for long before returning. My trailer and transport both times, never again.
No i got you there Chris, it nearly makes you think was it given with a good heart in the first place ? No the boy is a good 'un but sometimes they just don't think, as you have probably seen in a another thread today we had planned all four of us myself, wife, and 2 grandchildren to cycle the river path unbeknown to him i had to drive halfway and hobbled for a couple of miles each way to get to rocks and back. Heyho.
knows as much about leccy bikes as he does music. He's never read a manual on music and so I don'tn think he's one to start "advising" on electric bikes - only to avoid whatever he would buy!
I've discovered an electric bike shop in my second closest town, Stroud. I need to do a bit more work practising getting on and off a bike (but it is getting much, much more better) and then I'll taxi it into town and have a look. I think that whatever happens about my driving license, I will get one (when I get some money). Sadly, it will not be a Ducati!
Love my eBike, more time going downhill, unfortunately it’s also resulted in more injuries. Still have my normal MTB as I do love the grind on a XC ride!
