Someone asked her to make a ‘pipe’ along the lines of “will all M.U.F.F divers please report to Mike Hunt”. The ships warrant officer had a major breakdown.
Wot, no ppe? Where's his hard hat, hi-viz, gloves, goggles, steel toe boots, has he carried out a risk assessment, written a method statement and been issued with a "permit to work" Life was so good back then and factories were full of genuinely skilled people. Happy days methinks.
