Hypermotard Evo (not Sp) Fork Oil Level Air Gap

  1. Stripped my hyper 1100 evo non sp forks to fit wilbers progressive springs, refilling with oil the workshop manual states 0.48l & 104 air gap. I filled 0.5 in each leg but have an air gap of 230mm. Do i go with the air gap measure?
    Wilbers website states 90mm air gap, so confused...

  2. Not sure sir - ive never been able to fathom out the gap way of filling them....i tend to measure whats come out and then put that back in....

  3. Got just under a litre out of both, never bottomed out so reakon putting the same back in & not worry.

  5. I got a syringe to fine tune but just used a 300mm rule for initial measure.
