Morning all, I recently acquired a 93 900ss, fitted with Keihin flat slides. The kind seller gave me the original Mikunis. Are they worth anything? cheers, Joe
There are at least two people on here after a pair, very hard to price as you can’t guarantee the condition without putting on a bike and testing. To give you an idea, new pairs when they come up are about £300.
what Chris said. Carbs are a commodity now, with even knackered ones going for around the 100 mark. there was a time when dealers would be binning them but now its a different matter.
I bought a set a few weeks ago, £120 on eBay, when they arrived one of the mixture screws was badly seized, I don’t usually complain being British but it annoyed me, the seller refunded me £20 so we parted as friends, so a good pair £120 to £150 second hand I would say.
well you never know when you're going to need them sort of trinkets do you... we're all guilty of it..
I'd certainly be interested in one. I'm really after the plastic sliders from the vacuum chambers but happy to buy a carb set to make it easy. My email is [email protected] if you want to send me a price. Regards Tim
haven't searched for a while for "our" carb spares and got a nice surprise! - far more sources than 5 years ago it seems. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193638038288
