As I said elsewhere, when I get riding again, I will first need to buy everything to wear, except boots - well, maybe even boots! It's all gone in my claim and we are talking of about £1500, roughly. 1 But I am being dumb! Good ol' eBay would get me a helmet for £26.95! And I was going to spend hundreds on an Arai! I must need my head examined! And free postage! The bargains just don't stop!!!
Ahhh... The latest line up from the Bank raid collection if I’m not mistaken.. I think if you look under “ sellers others items” you will find they do Large backpacks, kosh's, And sawn off shotguns too.. X
I am so tempted to buy it for two reasons! One: to see if the seller is in such a state of shock that anyone is dumb enough that he "forgets" to post it, and two) To inspect and be overwhelmed by the quality!
@PerryL Halfords sell cheap helmets so why not pop along and see what's available for double figures? Also worth checking billy' s helmet reviews as they cover all prices in reasonable depth.
Me and a mate have both had serous injuries from bike crashes involving head injury - well, brain!!! Both wore Arai. I would not touch anything else...
Caberg helmets are good. I had one and then replaced it with a pricey Schuberth at about 3 times the price, whilst a nice helmet I couldn't really see where all that money went apart from the branding and advertising! I've now got a Shark Evo which is also nice. AS an aside I have been stalking fleabay recently for a jacket; there are some cracking bargains on there in leathers, boots and general kit. I scored a nice pair of SWIFT sports boots, 2nd hand, for £35, basically unused, bargain.
