Idiot Drivers

  1. Because he was not riding a motorcycle and not speeding, the driver will probably get away with it. Should be sacked but not prosecuted in my opinion - just kicked in the nuts. The Police could pretend that he was on an Extinction Rebellion march...

  2. was talking about this just the other day, used to be a common occurrence when a driver used to a single-decker was asked to do a shift on a double-decker.. I don't believe the comment added below pic - why would any driver continue if told this??

  3. Just up the road from me, i was reading this in our southern Echo(the wife and me only read it for the ridiculous headlines and spelling mistakes), how the fuck a human can think a double decker can fit through a bridge at that height just boggles the mind. There is a bridge in portwood where this has happened at least three times:confounded:.

  8. We have a low train overbridge near us that has been continually hit over the years. The problem is it is angled away to the right and if it has been hit with a bit of speed, instead of just stopping dead, it has in the past tipped the trucks over. Note, we dont have doubledecker busses as a rule.

  9. A solicitor will get him off because overgrown trees and shrubbery have obscured the view of the height warning over the bridge (that picture is either old or from the other side) so it will be the council or network rails fault.

  10. Square peg in a round hole comes to mind here, surely the driving test set is way to easy for folks to pass these days...there lies the problem...i saw this problem first hand yesterday when following a coach driver down towards BOX
with his LHS indicator repeatedly flashing and travelling at just 35 MPH holding up the traffic.I gave him a loud horn when passing him.Minutes later when i came out wiith the mllkshake there he was in the middle of the carpark, engine ticking over and yes you guessed it ....the indicator still ON.: unamused:

  11. There has obviously been a lot about this on local radio.

It really amused me that the headline was - Bus route changed to 'Single-deckers after crash'.

The fact that he wasn't on the bus route doesn't appear to matter.

Difficult to judge a guy without all the details, but it's pretty obvious he needs the sack.

    Nasher.
