Wankers all. The M1 section I need to use most days. I know where both of the camera's are fortunately so will be ignoring that silly fking rule for the most part. If they subsequently put average speed cams up, then I will drive through at the limit in 1st gear .... just to make a point

If levels are high there, its likely do with 34 being the Meadowhall junction(s) and 33 being the Sheffield Parkway junction ...the busiest two feeder roads in the area. It certainly isn't the M1 causing the issue.

 

Pretty soon we might as well all buy a shit electric car that drives itself.

So let's see, cars and motorcycles today have to pass strict emissions regulations, so they now produce as far as makes no difference fuck all, so how the fuck is doing 60mph on a motorway going to cut pollution, IMO global fucking boiling oh my god we are all going to die is absolute BS, our planet is very tough and through history has gone through some pretty hard times and will continue to. Unfortunately we live next to a road, long story and all fucking day with the windows open it's fucking tyre roar, when is that going to be sorted there is strict noise regs for quite engines yet what is the decibel level for tyre roar, the whole world lives under a false economy.

They put a temporary 50 on the M25 whilst carrying out widening works around Heathrow and found it reduced pulsing of traffic from one queue to the next, but also reduced emissions.

 

I do expect to see police escorts of billionaires & arsehole royals having to follow suit. Not as they do now run by using blues-n-twos whilst doing 100+mph'
