Sincerest apologies for the model dyslexia Paul, you could paint the BMW abortion red and put No. 1 stickers on like the scooter or just set the fucker on fire, yes, that would be a better kind of red and kinder too
Shouldn’t that be PCP? Wonder if a sidecar is on the options list? (to include; brackets for search light, m/g of your choice, cup holders). I’ll get me coat.
Beard.....check, coffee been to cup with facility to manipulate strength & volume from iPad.....check It still has no seat for the Mrs though
Neither do pushbikes but I've given many a passenger a lift during my teen years, I think the lack of actual pillion seat is to encourage the rebel in owners s to flout pointless laws in the way only the Germans can
I think the lack of a pillion seat is coz someone sensible walked into the factory when they were building it and said ‘WTAF - stop. No-ones gonna been seen dead with you on that; don’t waste any more money on any more parts, we gotta reduce our losses dude’ . Or something similar in German.
Spotted one today at Caistor, Lincolnshire. Was from Marshall’s of Grimsby; their demo one. Guy who had it said the ride was harsh
I don't mind it - it's not as bad as some or cruiser type bikes out there. I did see a pic of this on another forum and wondered what the whole schtick was with these things. I thought that BMW would no doubt have a whole line of lifestyle and riding accessories to suit this bike. Then I pondered that as this bike is being modelled on bikes produced in Germany around the time when they were, ahem, taking care of business, would they bring out a line of smartly styled attire of those times (i.e. black leather trench coats...) and have them draped over some nuggety male model from one of their car ads? They would certainly look smart. But no, they've wound it back quite a bit and got a guy who may as well be in an ad for their scooter.
