Those of a squeamish disposition look away or scroll past this post pronto..... Yesterday at work whilst chopping vegetables for some inexplicable reason I caught my finger in the up down motion of the 10” knife, sliced off part of my finger nail . Ouch! It hurt. Blood everywhere and had to retrieve it from the veg or else bin the lot, just in case. I stuck the bit of nail back in it’s place and bandaged it up. Today I had to change the dressing. It’s not too bad now, although I doubt the big of nail will survive. Gory photos coming up - you have been warned.
Well yesterday certainly turned out to have a sad ending after a nice ride out. I noticed the air ambulance looking for a landing site up at Richmond racecourse on Monday evening and joked with my neighbour that someone was in trouble and thought no more about it. When I rang Mrs W from North Berwick yesterday I thought she sounded a bit odd but then again she does sometimes. Turns out that someone was indeed in trouble, Dave Clark the deputy head of Richmond School had been out walking his dogs when he was attacked by a herd of cows and was fatally injured. We still can’t believe it, I sat with Dave on Saturday having lunch and chatting about his plans for retirement next year. Dave was a mountain of a man a six foot six Scotsman with a heart of gold and tough as old boots. Such a shame. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/n...t-soul-school---emotional-tribute-dave-clark/
Just put the tank and seat unit back on my 750 Evo 3 after having the alarm taken off in readiness for sale, it’s not often I sell bikes so it feel strange wonder what it’s worth
Wouldn’t give you loose change for it. Way too butt ugly in that photograph and anyway, far too small for a man of my limited flexibility and generous proportions Andy
That's why it's the first to go they seem to be up for £8 to £9k with over 20k miles on the clock. Mine has 4600 miles so must be worth a fortune in comparison
