Hello all, thinking of taking a trip to Thailand, possibly next year I have been looking at Pattaya in particular, anyone been there & care to offer any advice, from the best time to go ( coolest climate wise) to the best places to visit, to the worst places to avoid Tia
I've been but didn't do anything cultural when I was there. I'd been on a tour through the country with a guide and the Pattaya part was just a week to relax after the tour. I loved the place but couldn't relate any stories on an open forum.
I used to work out there (in my days at Bosch and Nokia), never been to Pattaya, but most parts of Thailand. Pattaya is where 90% of the "Thai nightlife" went to in the 90's. Bangkok still has Patpong, Nana and such like. You will get plenty of "love you long time... or short time, your choice". Most blokes who seek such pleasures go there as there Number 1.
Unless there is a major change, you might find this article is useful regarding recreational activities in Pattaya https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-53736087
I strongly suggest that you take EVERY precaution if you partake in the flesh for money, COVID19 or not.
I spent 6 months backpacking around Thailand and SE Asia, I would say Pattaya was the sleaziest place I visited. There are much nicer resorts, especially once you start exploring the islands.
