I remember when i used to work for a family run trade company(best job i've had) we sold one to a guy who needed to torque the nut up for his propeller on his cessna, that was 1.5m long can't remember what it went up too but yes massive beast. Edit: It was a Facom one, so well pricey.
Torque wrench ordered. TX Now what about a flywheel lock, Duke specific ones are 50 quid + .Scissor tools are around 15 but they don't look right. Do I need to grip the body of the flywheel or the gear (which i think is the starter gear?)

Just for reference, the original holding tool from Ducati is approx £110. I ordered one the other day from Moto Rapido Ducati.
When I got my first Multistrada in 2010, I brought a Britool 70 to 330 Nm torque wrench which is 1/2" square drive for the rear wheel nuts. It looks like the same, or similar, model is still available (EVT3000A) for about £171, only £30 more than I paid all those years ago.
