So I owned an 888 Strada back in 2002, rode it as a daily bike, took it on track. But had to sell it as I was in my 20's and just couldn't afford the upkeep. Until today, when I have bought a 1994 Strada and ridden it for a couple of hours, with all the nostalgia and big smiles. I own a 996 and that is ok, but the 888 just has so much more character and passion. I need a front indicator bulb and a new rear brake light cover. Bulb removed was a "PHILIPS R10 W 12814 CP" any guidance on replacement part and where to get the brake light cover from would be appreciated. I'm in Hants, UK so my local dealership is W M Snell or MotoRapido. Loving my 888 again! Rich
Did Inda not have some rear light covers? https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/851-888-ss-spares.77282/ Might be 851...
Thanks Fire, looking at the thread, looks like the 851 and 888 are different brake light lens covers...

Beautiful reminds me of endurance racing ....they might not have run them in endurance but it certainly reminds me of it ......never ever ever forget au rouge (however you spell it) spa 24 hr race just 3 or 4 of us sat drinking Stella I imagine in the little stand in the dip listening to screaming 4’s at 2 or 3 or 4am then the dukes effortlessly going just as fast and the noise oh the noise that got me into ducati ok I do not have ducati at the moment but it is my love....that bike op is beautiful
I thought they fitted both bikes, besides the one I have is from a later bike. Will check when I get home from work.
Apart from the 1st Tricolore's all the rest of the 851/888's use the same rear lens. ...and at a pinch you can cut down a Tric' one to fit the later bikes. Steve R
I bought a new one in 1993. Rode it from Fulham to the City every day. Must have annoyed the neighbours a bit firing that thing up at 6:00 am every weekday, but what a laugh blasting along the Embankment each way. Drivers used to wind down the window at the lights and ask what was making all that noise, was there something wrong with it. Great times.
Speaking as a recent 888 strada new owner, welcome and what a lovely bike. I am slowly sorting a few niggles on mine but when I do get out on it it is a lovely thing to ride and feels very special.
