I tried to spank a monkey some years ago while on holiday in Thailand. We were staying in a beachfront villa on a hotel complex and left the door to the villa open for a moment . In walked a monkey and headed straight for the fruit basket on the table. Obviously well used to guests leaving villas open. I saw the little chap and thought I`d persuade him to leave the fruit behind. Big mistake , he opened his mouth as if he had a flip top head (pez bars , remember ) and revealed what can only be described as a fuck off set of teeth. At this point I decided the fruit was probably less important to me than to him so I stood back and let him finish scooping it all up. So there you are boys and girls, spanking the monkey is not only wrong but can be bad for your health too.
Sorry ... my bad. I meant to say 3 ... in fact I’m sure @Fire3500 is correct at 3.2 seconds. I’m not really one to worry about a few 10ths myself. It’s bloomin’ quick is all I know!

I had a go with a model S on my 1299 a few years back. Ducati’s are a bastard to launch as it is He did me off the line comfortably! But it was all over once I got in to second and third and the front stopped going skywards. they’re very quick to 60. Effortlessly and impressively so. After 60 they’re fairly easy pickings though on a 1000. Speaking of cars. I had a go in the new Turbo S a while back (911) .. they’re ridiculous over a 1/4 mile!
