  1. at risk of "ruining the plot" - she made a full recovery Paul and carried on biking with her Dad. :upyeah:

  2. Lovecraft Country. Excellent. Seems like it's just going to be about race relations in 1920s USA then takes a JJ Abrams monster/creature/Cthulu twist.

  3. The Dutches
    Dark comedy staring Katherine Ryan
Well written very edgy fast humour, worth a viewing.

  4. Also,
Jack Whitehall Travels with my Father.
    This time in Australia.
Often predictable but has its genuine comedy moments.

  5. Good recommendation thanks! I am halfway through second season and enjoying it. Star performer has got to be the mother, Kathrine O'Hara

  6. The unmistakable Roger Waters last night on the Sky-Arts channel.

  7. Honour, ITV. Pretty scary if that is really what’s happening out there in Britain today.

Amazed the PC brigade haven’t been out in arms pulling the racism and Islamaphobia (made up, doesn’t exist) card out and screaming for blood.

  8. Boys series 2. It’s got very dark....loving it and worth my prime subscription alone :upyeah:

  10. She’s amazing, shows no mercy whatsoever!
    Have rinsed it.

  11. Watched The Comey Rule last night, all 4 episodes. Sky Atlantic.

    Excellent :upyeah: really really good.

How they managed to broadcast it so close to the US election is beyond me. It leaves an awful lot of questions hanging about Trump and his Russian connections.

Brendan Gleason as Trump is superb.

  12. I'm watching for posts from @chizel right now.
He hasn't responded to my PMs.

I do hope some loathsome scrote hasn't done him in, in some way.

  14. Just finished Giri/Haji. Bit late to the party but really enjoyed

    Might try
The Haunting of hill house then Bly Manor when it releases

    Or that wretched

  15. Just rewatched Utopia. Well cast, filmed and presented. Very entertaining and more than a little bit topical when you look whats going on in the world today.

  16. The Aliens.
They are amongst us, dress and act like us, but because they are aliens they are social outcasts and treated accordingly.

Dark comedy draws on immigration policies of today

And the aliens all have french sounding names!

  17. It’s very good, it gets confusing but it’s one you have to watch all of it and can’t just pay 80% attention. Worth it tho.

Watching the fall with Gillian Anderson

  18. What a brilliant series, loved the end when they all broke out into a dance routine, quite excellent.
I've just watched the first episode of "brave new world" on Sky. That started quite well.
But it'll be interesting to see how it progresses as I read the book a few months ago and didn't love it at all.

  19. A hard days night after an evening with neighbours, lots of food and too much alcohol

  20. Extinction, David Attenborough. Much of it is a rehash of Chris Packham's 7.7 Billion People and Counting, but with a C-19 twist.
    Still, scary stuff.
