It's a strange one - Rite Bike had different Directors to Dealer Bikes. Rite Bike is webuyanybike.co.uk Dealer Bikes Ltd were incorporated but dissolved 4th Sept 2018 Rite Bikes were incorporated but dissolved 15th Sept 2015 They could now be trading as an unlimited company I guess. I've bought 2 bikes from Rite Bike when they were a Ltd company and both bikes were good - luck of the draw as they buy cheap and sell cheap without doing much in between due to the volume they shift. I bought my 848 off them 6 or 7 years ago when it was rite bikes. If I’m back home this weekend I’ll try to get over but can’t promise.
Had a couple from ritebike too, Blackbird great bike no problems, a BMW K1200 cracking bike, they had to tig weld the downpipes as it was holed where they collect, common fault on all K series and my 2010 mutley, I complained about the brakes as they were lacking power and bite and leaky res all changed and callipers cleaned and new pads fitted, all brembo stuff, took their time with the problems but they are 60 odd miles away. All in all good to deal with, if you keep on at them. As Stu said they work on a SPQR system, small profit quick return, they have been known to take parts from other stock to get yours sorted. That is a sweet looking machine, absolutely clean as a whistle, have you made any enquiries about the instruments change and the exact mileage it was changed, I'm fastidious when it comes to cleaning my bikes, none are as clean as that!
Bloody hell, have had another look at enlarged pics and see some marks, and some muck. Ring them see if any of them have whatsapp on their phone and do a video walkaround.
