Wales Blast

  1. Heyup Guys,

Had a scoot into Wales on Sunday, 27.09.20, before the place may be lockdowned again. I was hoping to meet a mate at Bala who had just bought a new Triumph Rocket 3 to accompany his X Diavel. He wasnt there, however a few of me other Duc pals were. Col, on his V4 Streetfighter, and Frank n Graham on their Multistradas.

Tagged along with them to Barmouth, quick pitstop for a stretch and coffee by the harbour. Then onto the bike stop at Betwys, over the hills, deffo one of the most sublime pieces of tarmac in Wales imo, designed by a biking god for sure. The V4 sounded utterly ridiculous over there, especially with the £4.5k Akra system on it, the overun and change ups producing some lovely pops. The multi lads had already said they weren't stopping, but me and Col stopped and had a quick coffee on the platform before heading home.

A really good day overall, good roads, scenery and company. Even though it was bright sun all day, you could feel the Autumnal chill trying to get a grip. This will be very close to my last ride out this season, as I'm deffo in the fair and warm weather rider category.

  3. Those Streetfighter colours are fantastic. Changes the bike and much nicer than the red. IMHO of course!
    Available from Ducati?

  4. It was done through Ducati Manchester I believe.

  5. Very subtle bin shot.
    Nice.

  6. I dunno where Col got the paint/graphics done, as ET said probably Duc Mcr. Talking to him last week and he’s put a load of carbon bits on it now as well, it will look and sound well.

  7. Just caught up with Col before he goes over to Italy. Yeah it was done through Duc Mcr, they have a guy who does stuff for them. It really does look mint as well. The V4 may well be in Italy now, along with another couple of the lads bikes, and they fly out Thursday. Ok for some eh?

  8. I think they need to release that colour scheme. I'd hoped they would do the original colours prior to release.
