  2. No mention of Benny Hill? Dick Emery, or Kenny Everett? Really picking the best is impossible, depends on personal taste, mood or many other factors, the UK has had many fantastic comedians or comedy characters through the years, much more subtle and clever than the Yanks.

  7. Went to see Jo Brand at the Arts centre in Pontardawe once, she was crap.
    On the other hand, saw Carrot at the Grand in Swansea and he was brilliant

  9. Suspect that quite a few have got the guts to say it but all the little luvvies out there wouldn't be able to cope with it and would cause such uproar that the alleged offenders would be ostracised by those who employ them and so the outcome could be career ending.

  15. Does “Humph” fit into this category as ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue” was the funniest thing on the radio for years under his Chairmanship? Humphrey Lyttelton was a deadpan genius of doubles entendres and inuendos!
