What are you guys paying on a 1299 ? My current provider won’t add it onto my multi bike policy so a new quote with no NCD come out at £2500 !?!?!?! Im 43 years old FFS and don’t live in a high risk area !
Either way you are buggered. If you cancel your current policy to start with a new broker/underwriter that will insure all your bikes on one policy, you’ll get charged an exorbitant exit fee by the current broker/underwriter. Fecking iPad won’t go back far enough for me to check the email that says who my underwriter is but it’s through Cornmarket. Andy
I’m with Ramasis / Wicked Quotes (used to be Ducati Insurance) and pay £242 for 1199 Pani R and 916 ...
I was in a similar situation. Insurance wanted too much to add a MV Agusta F4 to my multi bike policy. I used Grove and Dean for the MV. Zero no claims, 128 quid fully comp.
@Wazzaduke33 what exactly is your status? New rider...home owner...area of that dwelling please, tracker on bike, had any big accidents last 4-years?? et cetra
43, homeowner, 11 years riding, 3 bikes including Superduke 1290 , Cheshire postcode, I do have 9 points though
9 points will drive the cost up do I suppose. I'm not judging but it doesn't scream careful, responsible driver.
Christ I had my brand new 1299 back in 2017. I had one years no claims and was 26 years old and was paying sub £600 !
3 points drop off in December, the rest were this year. First 3 points were for 36 in a 30 in my missus 1 Series diesel and the other was 78 in a 70, rules is the rules I suppose but I’m usually a plodder in the car and really careful on the bike too
Hence I said I don't judge. Same 3 points for 36 in a 30 or 49. Not always a true reflection of the offence commited.
