Motogp Aragon (spoiler)

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by WAYNE, Oct 16, 2020.

  1. FQ’s heads’ totally gone after that... And I don’t buy the injured story. Riders at that level have done much better with much worse injuries.

  2. I'd rather Rins, Dovi or Mir won it. Although for Mir to win it without winning a race would be a bit undeserving imo.

However whoever gets the most points is a worthy champ, if others can't stay on. It was Rossi's strategy over the past few years now that the ultimate speed has gone.

  3. Do you know if he delivers too or eat in only....feeling peckish.

  4. Let's face it if he was delivering on a moped they would be stone cold.: unamused:;)

  5. Let's be honest Motogp will take some time to recover when Rossi retires, hate him or love him he has had an extraordinary career and without him on the track it is odd but people will get used to it.
There are some future stars in the making for the Italian fans and non Italian, Bezzecchi who i've had my eye on since Moto3, Marini, Fenati(i love the bloke) Pecco, celestino vietti, Arbolino, Tatsuki Suzuki the adopted Italian jap and probably some others i can't think of at the moment but there is some Quality up and coming talent moving up and there is an exciting prospect for some great riders of the future, bring it on!!

  6. Didn’t Hayden win it without winning a race?

  7. No, he won a brace. :)

  8. Blimey, I remember that last race at Valencia. Bayliss made everyone look silly and Rossi fell off. And Hayden blubbing like a girl. Had everything!

  9. For me Valentino's behaving like a rookie this season and has completely forgotten what put him on the pedestal for so many times over the years....rostrum places earn you points,it's in his D&A.He has shown us this year he can run at the front again with good speed but needs to sort out the baking ingredients for next season or else.

  10. Dovizioso in 250's with Lorenzo. How weird does that seem?

  11. We were there, sitting right where VR fell off and yes, Bayliss had an awesome ride. Never did understand why he didn’t get an offer to ride in MotoGP for 2007. Andy

  12. He’s a fading star now. Young guns are coming through and establishing themselves. There won’t be any great jolt of a loss when he hangs up his leathers.
He’s made a magnificent contribution to MotoGP but he’s obviously had his day.

You can’t really blame him for knocking it off a notch. He’s getting on and he’s nowt to prove.

  14. I don’t get what he said (but what do I know?) Did the front get too hot so the pressure went too high?

  15. If Sunday’s race was a portent of things to come without VR46, I don’t think we’ve much to worry about. Just hope that when MM93 returns he doesn’t utterly dominate again. I never thought I would be urging a Marquez on for a win. Go Alex!

  16. All wind and piss I'd say. I'm an aging track day rider and I never mess up my tyre pressure's. I doubt a MotoGP team would.

We've seen it time and again. FQ ain't a Sunday guy. He looks a bit fragile and emotional at the moment. He's young. It might come to him but his head's gone for now.

  17. Kudos to Alex Marquez for turning his rookie season around and getting the Honda to work properly because Mark Marquez was the only person who was able to ride the damn thing, but I really would like to see either a Suzuki Rider win the championship or Dovi. Just got a soft spot for the underdog I guess.

  18. There has been comments that the Honda has had a step change in mid season for its ride ability. Look how tight he could turn under fully charging riders!

Re tyre pressure, it happens. Think McPhee had something similar last year and a Tri options guy this year didn’t check after he had a new tree and rode qualifying with a 60psi front ;)

    TBF he’s less factory ...
