  1. Avoid them like the plague.... in all my years of online buying I have never felt so abused by a company...they took an order then after two weeks admitted the stuff I bought wasn't in stock. Eventually it arrived - the chain I bought arrived in a torn box and was about six inches too short. Two weeks of emails, calls and finally they collected the chain. Now they are saying I 'used' it and have both the chain and my 160euro. AVOID AT ALL COST

  4. I have read a completely mixed set of complaints and praises for them across differing social media platforms. It seems to depend how your luck runs, or what you order I guess.

Well well, what a 'shop' - obviously didn't like my review and has now resorted to name calling me (in Spanish!) by email x3 . Last name he called me was simply 'thief' .... they STILL have my money and the returned goods - I think I know who the thief is!

  6. January '21....Carbon4us till haven't refunded nor even acknowledged the complaint.... off to the credit card company. What a shower of wankers to deal with.

  7. I’ve bought a few parts from them in the past 12 months and I am very pleased with the quality of said parts, pricing, packaging and delivery times.

  8. when they have stuff in stock they were great, good prices fast delivery. problem is his command of English sucks and I think his g/f who used to do all the uk customer service is no longer around so resolving problems is harder than it needs be. spanish customer service is an oxymoron . . i doubt he will have his act together re brexit vat and customs changes(although I could be wrong) so proceed with caution to avoid paying vat twice.

  9. I have been dealing with them for almost a year now and have done 9 orders so far therefore I can give a somewhat extensive feedback about them.

I live in Madrid, not that far from them so the only reason I dared buying from them was knowing I could always go there in person if they tried to pull anything.
Usually they only have small stuff in stock. Expensive items are always on backorder and take several weeks. Their delivery times on their website have nothing to do with reality. And they will not answer questions or give a f about after you paid. Before they get money they are super-duper responsive and helpful.
Once you paid you just wait till the item shows up, whenever that may be. That is their business strategy.

I strongly recommend paying only with Paypal so you have leverage in your hand if they feel like not delivering your order.

As funkatronic said, customer service in Spain is an oxymoron. Although I have had really good experiences with other webshops. But carbon4us is terrible even within Spanish standards and even locals complain about them.

For small parts I had several orders which went without problems and quite quickly. There were parts which took more than a month, and in their defense they sent everything.
I ordered an item in the beginning of January that I still have not received and they are not willing to tell when.
I informed them of my order cancellation but they just ignored it the same.
I am about to reach out to authorities to escalate the case.

I do not recommend purchasing from them.

And I suggest reading their google reviews, it looks like they are deliberately scamming international buyers.

  10. I think I (an international buyer) may have fallen prey to their scamming ways. I'm hoping that they're just taking their sweet time; that I can live with. But If I've been scammed, that would suck hard. If you're willing to help me out to follow up on an order, please let me know. Until then, I will continue to try to reach them... Cheers.

  13. Not long after my post they got back to me and I even got my money back. But only after GLS - presumably - lost the parcel. Once I had confirmed I preferred my money back to waiting, they quickly returned it.

Since my post I noticed a slight improvement in their communication. Although I still have been waiting for 1,5 months for another item. But the manufacturer confirmed the same availability date for the item that the shop told me.

Those are my latest experiences. So far my money did not get lost just takes an awful lot of time to hear back from them or receive anything that is not in stock.

However, PM me if you feel like there is no progress at all and I will see what i can do to help.

  14. He is a useless , monumental tool!

Bought some brake pads last year.in a rush. The model info was listed incorrectly on their site so they were not compatible. When I complained I was told someone would get back to me. After 2 months of trying I gave up and flogged them online. After hearing nothing , another 4 months later I get an email saying "send them back for a credit note"

I would avoid buying from them at all costs

  15. I think it's early days yet and I might just be panicking. I think there is some deceit involved: I asked whether a part was in stock and they answered that it was. I know for a fact that almost nobody has Ohlins shocks in stock and that there's a huge back-order. I'm guessing this is the reality with them too. I'll sit back for a bit and see how it plays out. Thank you, I will definitely get in touch with you should it come to that. Cheers!

  16. Appearances can be deceiving and they look like a true Ducatista's paradise as they have everything "in stock". I'll see how things go for me, but this experience so far has cooled me on them...

  17. Hi. Have you gotten your item? I just bought an item a few days ago from them thinking that they are a legit online shop. Lord knows why I didn't bother to just google "reviews carbon4us" prior to purchasing the item. In their site, the item shows shipped STANDARD but no tracking number has been updated. I tried calling their listed number and emailing them but no answer/reply. Sigh...

  18. An update. And a positive one at that!

I'm glad to report that after the 3rd consecutive email, they replied with a UPS tracking number. But the details were UPS Intl super saver 1kg.... I was thinking that no way a seat could be 1kg, if not the weight, the packing dimensions alone would be calculated as 3-5kgs. I paid Euro 70 for shipping.

UPS delivered that parcel within 5 days, lo and behold its the lowered seat that I ordered, correct unused item, wrapped under the Ducati logo emblazoned clear plastic and bubble wrapped.

So they came through this time, solidly and/or I got lucky.

    Thank you.
