Can anyone help with sourcing a HIGO connector please. I've spent hours searching the net for one, all the 4 PIN male connectors I see don't have the D shape which mine has: I enclose a photo of what I'm after.
Does it HAVE to be that style, just thinking if you can't find that exact version you could change the mating connector to one you can get hold of such as these on Ebay ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Higo-Wat...e-lead-1m-ebike-electric-bafang-/302851067039
Yes, it does have to be that style. I need it to fit into an existing female connector which is part of a 4 way junction .
That's a great idear, I'm doing this because I have a knackered ebike throttle. I can buy a new throttle with the connector fitted, but the price is circa £45. I have already stripped the old throttle down to replace a blown Hall sensor and it's such a badly made and designed cheapskate item that I would like to replace the whole throttle with a superior quality item, (costing about a fiver) hence needing to fit this particular connector which mates with the female in the block shown in my last photo.
Havn't told the full story-yet. How I destroyed my newly aquired ebike in less than 5 mins. Bought the bike, brought it home on my towbar rack. Set out for my first ride after quickly fitting a Bungee strap to the rear rack as it didn't have any method of fixing things on the rack. Rode for less than 5 minutes, Bungee strap threw itself off the rack and decided to entangle itself in the gears and wind itself round the rear hub motor, bringing the bike to a unwanted sudden halt. Now motor not working-FFS! After much investigation and testing, found out I had fried the controller due to motor trying to overcome the Bungee wrapped around the motor. Nearly now all resolved after buying and fitting a replacement controller .
