Monster 1200s Pin Code

  1. Hi. Just bought a second hand 2015 monster 1200s from a dealer and the previous owner has left no information as to what the pin key code was. Before i ask the dealer to contact the previous owner, does anyone know if the current code can be cleared so i key my own in. I don't need it now but would like to have the ability to use it if necessary. cheers

  2. If the owner has the code it can be changed but, as far as I know, only a dealer can clear an existing code.

  4. Mine was cleared successfully by a non main dealer. Also I've read that the code would be last 4 of the VIN if it had never been changed, don't know if that's correct.

  6. looks like a dealer visit of ask the people i bought it from contacting the previous owner.
