Fecking cold in Spain! It's as cold as my garage at home! Well, I can dream... There is going to be a link to my nearest town, Stroud, soon. Gloucestershire has Spanish links! On a more relevant topic: In line with changing my mind every few days, I'm thinking now to not buy a new bike when I get a payout. One advantage (and I take them where I can) of having a smack in the head and not being physically able to climb on a bike, is lack of memory. I could just stick to my existing bikes. My ST3 is over 12 years old but the mileage is low. It will be like a new bike to me! And I could always get some engine work done to make it more spicy.
I hope you are eating paella! Congrats on keeping up the exercise, it must be hard sometimes? Get on with fixing your bikes and then decide? That way you could ride them or sell them - you know it makes sense.
I was halfway through doing a valve check on my ST2 before my accident in March '19 (now, forgotten where I put my notes so I'll have to start again but I remember the front cylinder was halfway through (I haven't checked the back one yet) did need shims, Once done, my ST3 could do with new belts and a shim check. So, plenty to do but I can get Riders to post any shims. The ST3 mirrors are fecked but I haven't really had a good look to see what's what yet. I got to do all of this to part exchange, anyway. I am just thinking, why change?
Sometimes change is good just for the sake of it I wouldn’t have got where I am today riding a 23 years old 900ss if I hadn’t parted with my perfectly good examples of a S4 monster a S4rs monster and a 1200 Multistrada S touring Now it makes sense!
Good job P good to see you arrived at your destination (I sound like a bloody sat nav ) What about a nice scrambler
