  1. Struggling to find a major courier that will deliver a LiFePO4 battery. I know Speedlink UK have a dedicated service but I’m not near one of their depots. Any suggestions ? Andy

  2. Hi Andy, Might it be quicker to phone a battery supplier and ask who they use?

  3. :upyeah: Had a chat with a local stockist and asked just that question. According to him, commercial delivery is an entirely different process to a domestic overnight. Just spoke to Speedlink UK who offer a dedicated LiPo delivery service and the cost to deliver a single item within mainland UK for me, is £120 which is a non starter. Parcelforce, DPD and APC Overnight won’t touch it. Was hoping the chap who recently sold a LiPo on here will come back with who he used. Andy

  5. That’s odd, Tuffnells web site states that they do not transport hazardous or dangerous goods. No-one is answering the phone at the moment so I can’t ask and I suspect from their main web page, you need to be a business user and have an account but thanks for the steer. Andy

  6. Where's the supplier? Could we use the forum courier service? If it's anywhere near me I'd be happy to pick up and carry it 50 or so miles to another member to pass on. Assuming it's a bike battery not something for a supertanker.

  7. Spoke to someone on my local depot team and yes they will carry LiPo batteries BUT you need a retail account and have a regular throughput :( Andy

  8. It’s me, flogging a battery in the forum for sale. If a forum member wants it and we could arrange to shuttle it, that would be great. Andy

  10. OK, I'm in Salisbury and happy to carry up to 50 miles from there

  11. UPS will carry them provided they are packaged correctly......see their website for packaging details.

  12. Thank you. Reading through their helpful illustration on packaging and labelling goods that are classified as hazardous or dangerous, UPS has similar requirements to DHL which means spending more than I’m asking for the battery :(. Andy

  13. @El Toro, @Ducbird, Hi Terry and Viv, I have had a lot of very helpful advice to my question. Bottom line, the cost of a courier is more than what I’m asking for the battery so isn’t practical. Happy for you to close the thread. Thankyou. Andy
