Front Paddock Stand Adapter For 999 Lower Triple Mount

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by TheJackal, Nov 1, 2020.

  1. Hi everyone,

The 999 has no hole in the lower triple mount, does anywhere sell an adapter/cradle system for use with traditional under triple front paddock stands?

  2. Drill a hole...

  3. Not going to drill a hole in the lower mount just to drop the forks out :) If I were planning on doing this (and more) all the time then maybe.

I've found that removing the pin in my existing paddock stand that I can lift the front with just the force against the lower mount Not the stablest thing but I can make a mount to give it a flat surface.

Haven't found anywhere that sells a ready made one, only the full thing which I don't need.

  4. You could make a cradle out of timber and drill for the locator pin easy enough.

  5. Sorted it out with a homemade bracket in the end, so far so good!
