Hi everyone, The 999 has no hole in the lower triple mount, does anywhere sell an adapter/cradle system for use with traditional under triple front paddock stands?
I've had one of these for years. Great bit of kit. https://probike.co.uk/lifts-stands/paddock-stands/front-headstock-stand-ducati
I've had that stand for about 6 years now, lifts pretty much any bike other than really heavy models like my '77 Goldwing, good selection of pins with it as well as the support cradle to go under the bottom yoke.
Not going to drill a hole in the lower mount just to drop the forks out If I were planning on doing this (and more) all the time then maybe. I've found that removing the pin in my existing paddock stand that I can lift the front with just the force against the lower mount Not the stablest thing but I can make a mount to give it a flat surface. Haven't found anywhere that sells a ready made one, only the full thing which I don't need.
