1260 Ducati Multistrada 1260 V4 !! 190hp

  1. What I find surprising is how disappointed some are that the new V4 is not delivering over 200bhp, really? How much power do you really need for the road? My 1260s has more than enough for road use. If I could ask for one thing, then its the bike to be 20kg less weight, the new V4 does not deliver that sadly.

  2. KTM dropped the price.
    I don't believe it.

  3. That’s a daily occurrence at KTM!

  4. Anyone know why Shakey Byrne is on this puke green Diavel video?

  5. Short of a bob or two ? Andy

  6. Have you watched the video? Hope he’s ok but Claudio Domenicali looks proper poorly... he’s only just 56 :astonished:
Perhaps it’s because he’s advertising a bike that’s copying a car with a price that’s been suggested is £3/4m. Another completely pointless project.
    Deposits anyone. :scream:

  9. Somebody’s going to love it, yeah?

  10. He's obviously been reading this thread.

  11. Hi Gary, that's an understatement for sure.
First the Multistrada line-up going full ADV without a sporty replacement then wash, rinse and repeat a different livery here and there.
    A Lamborghini Diavel???
Panigale perhaps but a Diavel?? I don't get it.
What's going on here with this marketing clusterfuck?

  12. Am I right in thinking that the 1260 Enduro will continue to be available?

    Alongside the new V4?

    If so, my confusion continues.

  13. Yes - because they have a lot of stock of them to shift as they did not sell as well as hoped.

  14. They might have a flair few v4’s they cant shift too if the reactions here are anything to go by.

  15. Ah, so that's where they got the idea for the new V4 from!

  16. Had a quick chat with a dealer yesterday, and they agree that we need to know if there will be a sporty version ASAP, as those that are ordering the V4 S Sport are gonna be seriously pissed if a Pikes Peak or V4R suddenly appears, as the S Sport is being marketed as the PP replacement.

  17. Best - if you don't like it - don't buy - wait and see... Ducati may get the message and make a different version - more road orientated... especially if their is little to no sales...

  18. There will still be sales Simon.
The dealers have had to place their allocations ahead of time, so now they are trying to sell what's coming.
Usually it's not hard to do, the previous models pretty much sold themselves.
So I think there might be a few spare bikes floating about in the dealer network, and maybe a few deals to be had especially come year end.
