  1.

  2. Only just remembered I paid 15450 pounds over to DG last year and didn't collect the bike for a week just shows you could loose a few quid handy I just presumed everything was hunky dory!

  3. Wow thanks for the “heads up”. Did the guy ever get his bikes back ? Was that the Ducati dealership before Rosso Ducati ? I used to live in Swords

  4. All V5 documents state “THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT PROOF OF OWNERSHIP, IT SHOWS WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REGISTERING AND TAXING THE VEHICLE”. But I take your point if the dealership has the V5 , Mot cert , manuals , spare keys etc it could be assumed the bike belongs to the dealership. I will be keeping hold of all my documents etc in that case. JHP Racing Ducati Coventry have offered to sell my Bayliss sale or return. Im sure JHP are not in any financial trouble , but with this COVID situation who can predict the future just now

  5. Yes ducati Dublin was the dealer not rosso and I'm pretty sure the bikes were never returned. The Desmo bounced around for sale for a bit at the mid 20,s but the country was imploding so it disappeared then, I'd say probably to the uk?

  6. Oh my god ! I bet the owner lost his mind loosing a desmo and 1098R

  7. Russian mafia ? More likely the Italian mafia !

  8. And the reason the bikes were on consignment was he needed the money and the debters were not the type of money men that cared how the bikes were in the shop! that shop dirtied a lot of bibs!

  9. Is there an actual statement saying this is happening ? Or is it just rumour ?

  10. Google 'Specialist Cars of Malton' before doing anything SOR.

  11. Felt a bit sad reading about SCOM. Years back when I was right into my Porsche’s they were “allegedly” the pinnacle of dealers. Just goes to show more often than not things are not as they seem.

  12. Eddie Stone is still hard at work ay Knockhill. he is a genius. I spent many years trying to get DG to fix my poor running and stalling, one time picked it up with a plethora of bolts missing and an untightened radiator hose! That was the last time. eddie has located and sorted it. get his £90 suspension setting too, you wont believe how well he can make bikes handle. Eddie is the best but now even busier than ever.

  14. Wow! 166k editda on 9m?! Over £1m of stock? And retail unit sounds like it’s on top of the cost.... Who’d take that on! Maybe if you were looking to wash cash thru a business....or multi-purpose the sales units....but why else?!

No wonder they ran out of cash, can’t have been easy having all that stocking loan cost, premise cost, and no revenue.

  15. and no premises to operate the business from as that's a separate entity by the looks of it.

  16. It'd be an ideal time to renegotiate terms of the building lease for starters.

Incidentally that margin in the motor industry looks good to me. I have a friend who is the dealer principle for a group of four Ford main dealerships in the West Yorks area and on a turnover of £75m plus his profit is £330k

  17. this is ebitda not profit. They will be underwater IMO once inters etc is added. Maybe its been leveraged so much the interest is unsustainable.

Get ready for PE backed management buyout without the debts
